Helping to provide habitat for barn owls on our fam
We’re hoping to increase the barn owl population on our farm.
It was a thrill to discover all the wild birds on our farm. Barn owls help control the rodent population, which in turn helps to increase the yield of our crops.
How do barn owls help farmers?

Barn Owl Workshop
One of the benefits of being an agritourism site is the opportunity it gives us to interact with the public in exciting ways. We hosted our first workshop in which children in the community were invited to build barn owl houses and install them on our farm. This fun activity not only increases awareness in our community, but also to create a safe place for these wonderful animals to breed and increase in population.
